Mutha brunchers

Ah, Mother’s Day. The one day of the year that you’ll just have to suck up those criticisms about how you still haven’t accomplished anything with your life and “Why can’t you be more like your sister?” just like everyone else. This is her day, so do it with a smile!

And you best remember to buy your present. Don’t make it another obvious last minute stop off at Walgreens, because she knows. What better way to celebrate the woman who endured the nine months and pains of child rearing than a delightful Mother’s Day brunch at any one of these fine Chicago dining establishments?

David Burke’s Primehouse
One thing I love about special brunch events at David Burke’s is the ridiculously cheap bottomless drink deals. Considering all the brunch buffets going on May 10, $10 for all-you-can-drink champagne, Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Screwdrivers really makes this restaurant stand out. Brunch is served 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and priced at $48/adult; $20/children 12 and under. Reservations strongly recommended by calling 312.660.6000.
